Amazon to launch food delivery service, ‘Amazon Restaurant’ this Diwali in top 10 metros where Amazon Prime is available. Amazon’s entry will affect the cash burn in this sector whereby rivals Swiggy and Zomato burn $30-40 million each month. Swiggy fulfills 1.2 millions daily orders across 300 cities in India while Zomato has 1 million orders per day across 500 cities.
