
German Chancellor Angela Merkel will land in India on Thursday with an entourage from 12 ministries and will have dialogs on different topics points with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Crux of the Matter
Around 20 agreements are expected to be signed by India and Germany, covering a varying topics.
Delegates will hold bilateral meetings with their Indian partners.
“The topics of discussions would include artificial intelligence, sustainable development, urban mobility, agriculture and football among others,” said Walter J Lindner, the German envoy.
Merkel’s two day visit would also involve meeting empowering female personalities, and visiting a metro station in Gurgaon.
Under the Modi government, India has built strong ties with France, Russia, Japan, Saudi Arabia while blancing relations with USA, China and Iran as well.
