A proposal to create an Institute of Eminence in Delhi University and to replace existing statutory bodies with a Board of Governors has provoked the ire of the DU Teachers’ Association. Perceiving this move to be a recipe for “denigration and disintegration”, DUTA plans to discuss the outcome of the move and express its resentment.
