EC Announces Assembly Election Dates for Haryana & Maharashtra

Assembly elections in Haryana and Maharashtra will be held on October 21 and counting will be done by Oct 24. The announcement of the dates by the Election Commission also marks the commencement of the Model Code of Conduct in both states. Bypolls for 64 other assembly constituencies across India will also be held on Oct 21.
