India’s 1st Private Train to be Inaugrated by Yogi Adityanath

The Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express train is set to be India’s first privately run train. It will be flagged off on Oct 4 by UP CM Yogi Adityanath.

Crux of the Matter

1. The Tejas Express will be run entirely by IRCTC

2. It is set to cover the distance from Delhi to Lucknow in 6 hours and 15 mins

3. It wil have 9 78-seater normal AC chair cars and 1 56-seate executive AC chair car
