Is COVID-19 Man-made? According to professor Montagnier, there is presence of elements of HIV in the genome of Coronavirus and germs of malaria. He considered that coronavirus was developed while attempts were being made to produce a vaccine for HIV AIDS. He said that the laboratory at Wuhan in China has achieved expertise in dealing with coronavirus since the early 2000s. Montagnier also said that the research supporting the claims that Coronavirus is man-made has been suppressed and canceled in China. Adding Fuel This statement sparked controversy in the scientific community and has added fuel to the US allegations on China for spreading COVID-19. The US has launched an investigation into the matter of spreading the virus from the labs of Wuhan. Trump stated that Coronavirus leaked from the laboratory of Wuhan. But China has defended itself rejecting all claims, saying that all the allegation of spreading of virus from the Chineses lab at Wuhan are baseless and lack scientific evidence.

Montagnier – A Controversial Figure Montagnier’s scientific career has been controversial. In the past, he was criticized for his research work on electromagnetic waves emitted by DNA (DNA teleportation) and on the benefits of papaya in AIDS. Critics have said that his theories lack scientific evidence. Another French virologist Étienne Simon-Lorière criticized Luc’s comment on COVID-19 and said, “His claims do not make sense. These are very small elements that we find in other viruses of the same family, other coronaviruses in nature.”
