Reliance Industries Hits Rs 10L Crore Market Capital

Reliance Industries, the country’s most valued firm became the first Indian company to reach Rs 10 lakh crore market capitalisation on 28th November. RIL’s market capitalisation (m-cap) reached to Rs 10,01,555.42 crore on BSE.


Crux of the Matter


  1. RIL’s stock value has risen 39% in the last year and to 40% in 2019 alone

  2. RIL gained 0.77% at NSE and closed at Rs 1,582.

  3. RIL gained 0.65% at BSE to close at Rs 1,579.95

  4. During the day, it reached an all-time high of Rs 1,584.

  5. RIL had hit an m-cap of Rs 9.5 lakh crore in the previous week.

  6. RIL had reached its Rs 8 lakh crore mark in August 2018.

  7. Reliance Industries posted a record net profit of Rs 11,262 crore in the September quarter.

  8. With a market cap of Rs 7.81 lakh crore, Tata Consultancy Services is the second most valued firm on the stock market.
