NBA legend Kobe Bryant passed away in a tragic helicopter crash on 26 January 2020 on the outskirts of Los Angeles.
All 9 occupants, including his 13-year old daughter Gianna, perished in the accident.
The untimely passing of the legend, fondly called Black Mamba by his fans, has led to a huge outpouring of grief from across the world.
Current and former NBA players were devastated by the news and paid their respects during their games as well as at a personal level. Many teams playing the same day started their games with a 24-second shot clock violation to honour his jersey number (24).
Bryant is survived by his wife Vanessa and 3 daughters.
