
In a recent terrorist attack in Kulgam, 5 daily wage laborers hailing from West Bengal were shot dead, and one was seriously injured. Further CRPF personnel stationed outside a school were shot at by terrorists in Pulwama, but with no injuries reported so far.

These attacks took place on the day the delegation of Parliamentarians from Europe arrived in Kashmir.
The Kulgam attack is another indident in a string of attacks on non-Kashmiris carried out by the terrorists.
A trucker from Udhampur locale was killed by terrorists in Anantnag On Monday. On October 24, militants slaughtered two non-Kashmiri truck drivers in Shopian locale. On October 14, two militants, including a speculated Pakistani national, shot dead the driver of a truck having Rajasthan licence number and ambushed a plantation proprietor in Shopian area.
Punjab-based apple merchant Charanjeet Singh was killed and Sanjeev harmed when terrorists assaulted them in Shopian region. The same day, a brick kiln worker from Chhatisgarh was shot dead.

2019 Pulwama attack was an attack on the Indian security guards by a suicide bomber on 14 February 2019. It happened at Lethpora in the Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The attack resulted in the deaths of 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) guards. The Pakistan-based Islamist terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed was responsible for this attack.
