“RO purifiers are installed everywhere in the country as nowadays everybody wants to drink RO purified water only. Unfortunately, the Reverse Osmosis, that is RO, has some disadvantages and advantages too. The reverse osmosis purification removes toxins such as lead, mercury, fluoride, arsenic, etc. which have ill effects on human health. Simultaneously, it has disadvantages also, as while purifying the dissolved toxins, it also removes natural minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, boron, sodium, etc. which are very essential for healthy bones and other functions of human body. This causes mineral deficiency. The concentration of Total Dissolved Solids should be 300-400 mg/l. While purifying the water, a lot of water is also being wasted.” – BJP MP G. S.
